Who we are

Dr. Nereida Perdigon:

Personal and Professional Consultant and Coach at EmpowerU Now Consulting

As a Personal and Professional Consultant and Coach at EmpowerU Now Consulting, I bring over 16 years of experience in higher education and a strong commitment to supporting individuals and communities. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, and living in the U.S. for over 30 years, I hold a Doctorate in Education from Colorado State University focused on minority groups and Latina women's representation in higher education. I'm also certified as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coach and a Personal Coach, with a background in teaching, mentoring, and bilingual academic advising.

My passion for inclusion and empowerment drives me to lead workshops on equity, female empowerment, and cancer patient support. As a lung cancer survivor and single mother of two now-successful professionals, I offer an empathetic, culturally informed approach that prioritizes compassion and understanding. I’m honored to share my experience and help others build a more inclusive and equitable future.
