Meet Dr. Nereida Perdigón
Founder of EmpowerU Now Consulting
Dr. Nereida Perdigón is a bilingual educator, consultant, and coach with over 18 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities. She holds a Doctorate in Education from Colorado State University and brings a strong background in culturally responsive practices, trauma-informed support, and community-based work.
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Dr. Perdigón has dedicated her work to empowering women, strengthening families, and helping organizations better serve diverse communities. Her experience includes education, mentoring, bilingual academic advising, parent support, and collaboration with schools, nonprofits, shelters, caseworkers, and community providers.
As a consultant, trainer, and cancer survivor, Dr. Perdigón is also the author of books focused on female burnout, emotional and spiritual healing, and recovery after harmful relationships. Her approach is grounded in compassion, cultural understanding, and practical strategies that help people and organizations create safer, stronger, and more inclusive environments.
